Privacy policy
Shayeb Automation is a software business based in Ontario, Canada. This page explains what personal information the site and app collect, why, and what you can do about it. Questions go to hello@shayebautomation.tech.
What we collect
- Your email address, to create your account and send sign-in codes.
- Your resume text. When you upload a file, it is read in your browser and only the text is sent to us.
- The job postings you paste and the documents written from them: match reports, resumes, cover letters, interview notes and messages, plus the status and notes you add.
- Subscription details from our payment provider: whether you are on Pro, the billing period and when it renews. We never see or store your card number.
- How you arrived: if you came from an ad or a tagged link, the campaign details are saved with your account so we know which ad it came from.
- Technical data: your IP address is used briefly to limit abuse, and our hosting provider keeps standard request logs.
Cookies
- One sign-in cookie keeps you logged in for up to 30 days. The app cannot work without it.
- Measurement and advertising cookies from Google and Meta are set only if you accept them in the cookie notice. You can change your choice with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the home page.
How we use it
- To write your application documents and keep them in your account.
- To sign you in, take payment and provide support.
- To prevent abuse and keep the service running.
- To understand which ads bring people who find the product useful.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts the site and the database.
- Anthropic provides the AI model. Your resume and the job posting are sent to it to write your documents. By default Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
- Stripe processes payments and, for some purchases, is the seller of record. Stripe receives your payment details directly.
- Resend delivers sign-in emails.
- Google and Meta, only if you accept measurement and advertising cookies.
These providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
- Your resume and applications stay until you delete them or delete your account.
- Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes. Sign-in sessions end after 30 days.
- When you delete your account, your resume, applications and account record are removed from our database. Payment records are kept by Stripe as the law requires.
Your choices
- Download your data from the Account page.
- Delete an application, or delete your whole account, from inside the app.
- Correct anything by editing it in the app.
- Ask us what we hold about you, or to remove it, by emailing the address above. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your privacy regulator. In Canada that is the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
What not to put in your resume
Leave out government ID numbers, bank details, health information and anything else an employer does not need. The app does not ask for these.
Age
The service is for people aged 16 and over.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top will change and signed-in users will be told in the app.
